Property Upsell Configuration

Overview

Property Upsells allow the AI assistant to automatically recommend additional services to guests. Configure these upsells by defining service details, pricing, offering strategies, and availability settings to increase guest satisfaction and generate revenue.

Property Upsell Setup

Add New Upsell

To offer a new service or experience to guests, create a new upsell entry. Navigate to the "Property Upsells" tab and click the "+ Add New Upsell" button to open the upsell creation modal and begin configuration.

Define Basic Upsell Information

To establish the core identity and description of your new upsell, provide essential details. In the upsell creation modal, enter the upsell name and a detailed description. Select an appropriate icon to visually represent the service.

Define Pricing Packages

To offer guests different options and price points, configure various pricing tiers for the service. Click "+ Add Package" to add multiple pricing options, specifying the cost and what each package includes.

Specify Offering Strategy

To guide the AI on when and how to recommend the upsell, define the triggers and communication style for AI recommendations. In the "Offering Strategy" section, enter specific keywords and guidelines that instruct the AI on when to mention the service, what to say, and how to match the tone. Include instructions for the AI to offer it only once per reservation and stop if declined.

Add Payment and Booking Instructions

To guide guests on how to book and pay for the upsell, provide clear booking instructions. Detail how guests can book the service in the "Payment & Booking" section. Include your unique affiliate link to ensure commission tracking.

Verify your unique affiliate link is correctly entered in the Payment Instructions to receive your commission.

Set Availability and Approval Process

To inform guests about service availability and clarify any necessary approval processes, set expectations for booking timelines and confirm if property manager approval is required. Fill in the "Availability" section with details on when the service can be booked. In the "Approval Process" section, specify if property manager approval is needed or if guests can book directly.

Global Upsell Settings

Access Global Upsell Settings

To define overarching sales guidelines that apply to all upsells for a specific property, access the configuration area for general tone and approach. Scroll down on the "Property Upsells" tab to locate and access the "Global Upsell Settings" section, which appears below your list of individual upsells.

Provide Sales Training Guidelines

To ensure the AI presents all upsells in a helpful and guest-centric manner, establish a consistent sales philosophy for your AI. In the "Sales Training & Guidelines" text area, enter specific instructions for the AI on how to approach upselling. Include guidance on tone, frequency limits, guest sensitivity, and how to prioritize guest experience over sales.

Upsell Management

Save and Deploy Upsell

To activate your newly configured upsell and make it available for AI recommendations, save all settings. After configuring all details, click "Add Upsell" or "Save Changes" to save your settings. This action deploys the upsell, making it active for your property.

Copy Upsell to Other Properties

To efficiently apply the same upsell configuration across multiple properties, replicate the upsell setup to other selected properties without manual reconfiguration. After successfully creating the upsell, click the "Copy to Other Properties" button. This allows you to select additional properties where you want to deploy the upsell.
