Translate Guest Messages using Google Chrome

Follow these steps to translate guest messages in your HostBuddy AI account when using Google Chrome.

  1. Log into your HostBuddy AI account and navigate to the guest conversation or message you want to translate.

  2. If the message is displayed in a language different from your default browser language, Google Chrome will show a Translate banner at the top of the screen. Click Translate to convert the entire webpage into your language.

  3. To translate manually, right-click anywhere on the page and select Translate to [Your Language].

Troubleshooting

  • If the translate option does not appear, click the three dots in the top-right corner of Chrome, select Settings, then go to Languages.

  • Enable Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language you read.

Translate Guest Messages using Safari

Follow these steps to translate guest messages in your HostBuddy AI account when using Safari on macOS and iOS.

  1. Log into your HostBuddy AI account and open the guest message you want to translate.

  2. If Safari supports translation for the webpage, a Translate button (speech bubble icon) will appear in the address bar. Click it and select the desired language.

  3. If you don’t see the option, ensure Page Translation is enabled in Safari settings.

  • On macOS: Go to Safari Preferences > Advanced > Enable Translation.

  • On iOS: Go to Settings > Safari > Enable Language Translation.

Translate Guest Messages using Microsoft Edge

Follow these steps to translate guest messages in your HostBuddy AI account when using Microsoft Edge.

  1. Log into your HostBuddy AI account in Microsoft Edge and open the guest message you need to translate.

  2. If Edge detects a foreign language, it will show a Translate pop-up at the top. Select your preferred language from the options.

  3. To initiate translation manually:

    • Click the translate icon in the address bar or right-click and choose Translate to [Your Language].

  4. Ensure translation is enabled:

    • Click the three dots in the top-right corner, go to Settings > Languages, and enable Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language I read.

  2. If the browser detects a foreign language, click `Translate` when prompted.

  3. Otherwise, right-click the page and select `Translate to [Your Language]`.

  4. Go to `Settings > Advanced > Browser` and ensure `Offer to translate pages` is enabled.
