Overview
Connect HostBuddy AI to Slack to receive important guest communication notifications directly in your Slack workspace.
Connect HostBuddy to Slack
Navigate to the settings page and select "Contact"
Click the + Add Slack Account button.
Select "Add to Slack" to begin the connection process.
Slack will request authorization.
Review the permissions HostBuddy requires. Choose your desired channel (we advise making a HostBuddy specific channel in your Slack account). Click Allow to grant access.
Set Up Notifications
Configure Notification Settings
In the Notifications section of the sidebar, click Add A Notifications Recipient to begin configuring your notifications.
Enter the recipient's first name.
Select the desired Slack channel from the dropdown menu. We currently only support one channel at a time. Choose the notification timing from the dropdown menu.
Select the categories (e.g., cleanliness, maintenance) and properties (if you manage multiple properties) for which you want to receive notifications using the respective dropdown menus.
Click Submit to save the recipient's settings. Repeat these steps to add more notification recipients.
