Notion

Overview

The purpose of this guide is to help you connect your Notion workspace with HostBuddy so you can easily manage your resources and select the right pages for each property, making it simple to share guest manuals, SOPs, and other documentation.

Before you start, make sure your workspace is organized and clearly label guest-related pages to keep internal information private while sharing what’s needed.

STEPS

Step 1: Open Integrations Settings

  • Log in to your HostBuddy account.

  • Go to Settings > Integrations > Third-Party Apps > Notion

Step 2: Selecting Notion Account

  • Click the Notion tab under Connected Integrations.

  • A pop-up window will appear after clicking Notion.

  • In the pop-up, go to the upper right corner and open the account drop-down menu.

  • Select the correct Notion account you want to connect to HostBuddy.

Step 3: Select Pages to Sync

  • Click Select Pages.

  • You can either use the search bar to find your page or click the drop-down arrow to browse and select pages manually.

  • After selecting the desired pages, click Allow Access.

  • This will bring you back to the Third-Party Apps page.

Step 4: Reload and Confirm Connection

  • Reload the Third-Party Apps page.

  • You will now see that Notion is connected.

  • You can start mapping specific Notion pages to properties within HostBuddy.

Step 5: Map Notion Pages to Properties

  • Select the Notion pages you want to link to which HostBuddy property.

  • Click Save.

Another good example:
If you have a Notion page called “House Rules,” you can link it to a specific property in HostBuddy. When a guest asks about rules or policies, HostBuddy can automatically reference that page to provide the correct information.

Step 6: Confirm Successful Connection

  • A green pop-up will appear saying: “Notion Property Mappings Saved Successfully.” This confirms that the integration is active.

  • Go to your Properties page > Property Setup for the connected property under Resources, you will see the linked Notion page listed.

  • Click Auto-fill to import relevant details from the linked Notion pages.
