Overview
HostBuddy now supports hosts in offering ChargeAutomation Guest Experiences & Add-ons directly through the Property Upsell feature. This integration allows hosts to create upsells and optional offerings that guests can purchase seamlessly, enhancing the guest stay while generating additional revenue.
ChargeAutomation provides curated experiences, optional services, and other add-ons such as early check-in, late checkout, guided tours, or property-specific extras. Guests access these offers via a simple web portal, making the process easy and professional.

Steps to Set Up Property Upsells
1. Property Selection
Select the group of properties where you want to apply a specific upsell.
Open Property Setup and click the Property Upsells icon.
2. General Upsell Settings
Define the overall guidelines for your property upsell.
3. Create your Upsell
Click Add New Upsell
Add your ChargeAutomation guest experience / add-on:
Add the basic information (e.g., name, description, strategy, and pricing).
Copy the exact ChargeAutomation online check-in/payment link under "Payment Instructions". https://app.chargeautomation.com/onlinecheckin?bookingid={Platform Reservation Code}&firstname={Guest First Name}
HostBuddy will automatically fill in the correct link for each guest, using their reservation details when sending messages.
4. Select Reservation Stages
Assign upsells to be offered at the appropriate reservation stage, then save.
5. Apply or Copy to Other Properties
Optionally, copy the upsell to other properties or property groups for consistency, then save.
6. Test Your Upsell
Go to Test Property to confirm the property upsell responses work accordingly.
